Club Aqua is a 24-hour gay men's bathhouse on Coral Way, a few miles west of the South Beach crowds. It traces back to 1972, when the building opened as Club Body Center, and the current operation keeps that long Miami cruising lineage going. Inside you'll find a full gym, a sauna, an outdoor heated pool with a sundeck, private and shared rooms, and a maze and video area. The crowd skews local-meets-visitor, with men dropping in to work out, sweat off a day at the beach, or cruise on their own schedule rather than the bar one. It runs around the clock every day of the week, which makes it the after-hours fallback once the Ocean Drive clubs let out — a low-key, members-style alternative to the Beach scene a bridge away.
