Part of the Gay Fort Lauderdale Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Fort Lauderdale, Florida
One of the longest-running gay bathhouses in the US, open since 1976
Clubhouse II has run on East Oakland Park Boulevard since 1976, which makes it one of the longest-operating gay men's bathhouses in the country. The 24/7 facility keeps the format unfussy: private rooms and lockers, a dry sauna, steam room, hot tub, and a renovated shower area. It's cash only, though there's an ATM on-site, and a government ID showing male is required to enter. The crowd skews toward bears and leather guys alongside locals and visitors, and the calendar leans harder on events than its sister spots, with CumUnion and BearUnion parties, leather nights, and Blackout sessions rotating through and free beer and soda several nights a week. Where Club Fort Lauderdale is the pool-deck experience, Clubhouse II is the grittier, more cruise-driven one across town, worth knowing which mood you're in before you pick.
