Part of the Gay Fort Worth Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Fort Worth, Texas
Fort Worth's longest-running gay bar on East Lancaster Ave, since 2005
Club Changes is Fort Worth's longest-running gay bar, open since 2005 on East Lancaster Avenue. Owner Jimmy Hutcheson built it as a neighborhood dive, with pool tables in back, dim lighting, cheap drinks, and staff regulars say treat everyone like family, which has earned it the nickname "the gay Cheers of Fort Worth." The Friday-night Divine Miss Divas Show is billed as the longest-running drag show in Fort Worth history. As other Fort Worth queer bars have closed over the years, Changes has become more central to the city's scene, and it draws a notably diverse crowd. It's less a destination than a constant, the local you end up at rather than the one you plan around. Open daily 2 PM to 2 AM.
