Country-and-western gay bar in Fort Worth's Near Southside on S Jennings
Club Reflection is a country-and-western gay bar on South Jennings Street in Fort Worth's Near Southside, opened around 2011 by married couple Kevin Barnett and John Garska. The decor commits fully to the theme, with antique saddles hung above the doorways, cowboy-boot-shaped mirrors, and trophy cases of memorabilia, and a taco stand sits right at the entrance. It's one of the few dedicated country-western queer rooms in the region, which gives it an identity the city's other bars don't share. Drag shows run several nights a week (Tuesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, typically late), with midweek talent nights, drag bingo, and karaoke rounding out the calendar. The spacious back patio is winterized for year-round use. The crowd is loyal, some regulars have been coming since the doors opened, and the aw-shucks, Stetson-under-the-bar warmth is the whole point.
