Its calling card is the clock: it opens at 7 a.m. on weekdays and Saturdays, a genuine rarity for a gay bar, and mid-morning on Sundays with a free light brunch for the regulars. The room is unpretentious and built for hanging out, with a digital jukebox, cold beer, simple cocktails, and a crowd that skews local and familiar. It's not a club and doesn't try to be, more the daytime-and-early-evening counterweight to the Main Avenue strip, and a reliable spot if you want a quiet drink at an hour when most bars are still locked.
