Two-floor gay nightclub on Princess Street since 1992: pop upstairs, house in Sub 101
Cruz 101 has been running as a gay nightclub at the bottom of Princess Street since 1992, in a converted Victorian warehouse on the edge of the Village. It's open six nights a week across two floors: the main club plays pop and chart with drag and resident DJs, while Sub 101 downstairs is a single-room basement space with its own bar, playing house and tech-house, home to the ALLSORTS nights. Each night has its own name and crowd, from midweek pop nights through to the Friday and Saturday parties and a Sunday session, and the doors stay open well into the early morning. It's 18+, and tickets for the bigger nights go on sale online ahead of time. It's a natural late-night move once the Canal Street bars wind down.
