Part of the Gay Manchester Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Manchester, England
Canal Street bar, club and restaurant with weekly live cabaret since 1995
Via has been on Canal Street since 1995. It works as a bar, a club and a restaurant under one roof, with food served during the day and a weekly programme of live cabaret once the evening gets going, followed by DJs. It's a big room right in the middle of the strip, which makes it an easy first stop if you're new to the Village. There's a beer garden for warmer nights, and you can book a table ahead for weekends and shows. Via is run by Stonegate, which also operates The Brewers further along Canal Street.
