Froot Falls is a gay guesthouse in Fire Island Pines, a long-running share house its owners call a Pines landmark of more than forty years. It runs nine bedrooms sleeping up to seventeen guests around a heated pool, and leans fully into the Pines share-house tradition: a communal kitchen, rotating meal duties, and a houseful of people who often arrive as strangers and leave as a crew. It books both as a full-house weekly rental for groups and by the individual room for people who want in on the experience without organizing the whole share. It sits a few minutes from the Harbor and the beach in the Pines, the car-free, ferry-only enclave where the social calendar — pool, tea, the Pavilion — is the whole point. For a first-timer, a room here is one of the more accessible ways into Pines summer culture; for a returning group, it's a known quantity to take over for a week.
