Hamburger Mary's Jax 2.0 is the Jacksonville outpost of the long-running burger-and-drag chain, now settled in Murray Hill on Edgewood Avenue. The "2.0" is literal: the original Beach Boulevard location closed after an electrical fire, and the staff and resident queens reopened here in 2025. The menu is built around half-pound burgers and house cocktails, served in a room that's loudly, comfortably queer. The draw is the entertainment calendar. Sundays center on "Waffles 'n Wigs," a midday drag brunch with a rotating cast working the tables, and the week fills in with drag bingo, shows, and themed nights. It's a sit-down restaurant first — good for a group dinner that comes with a performance — rather than a late-night bar, which makes it an easy entry point to Jacksonville's queer scene for travelers and first-timers.
