Boise, Idaho
Gay-friendly live music bar in historic downtown Boise since 1978.
Humpin' Hannah's is a Boise institution operating since 1978 in a historic downtown building noted for its handcrafted brick arches. Founder Dick Dufenhorst and current owner Rocci Johnson have maintained the venue as a premier live music hub, with the Rocci Johnson Band drawing large weekend crowds for over three decades. While not an LGBTQ+ bar, the venue is a champion of local civil rights; Johnson is a recipient of the 'Powerhouse of Acceptance' award for her advocacy. In 2025, the Idaho Business Review named Hannah's the city's Best Legacy Business.
