San Francisco, California
Castro men's boutique for club, festival and going-out looks.
Knob's is a gay men's fashion boutique on Castro Street, open since 2014 and run by owner Ryan Hill, a Castro retail veteran. The inventory leans into club, festival, and kink-adjacent wear — harnesses, mesh tops, glitter shorts, jockstraps, vinyl jackets — alongside a "Made in San Francisco" collection from local designers. Not an adult toy shop; think bold going-out looks at accessible prices, mostly $15–$55. The store stays open late (until 10:30pm weeknights, 11:30pm weekends) to catch the Castro's evening foot traffic, and staff are known for helping customers put together a look rather than just ringing up purchases. Hill previously ran three Castro clothing stores simultaneously; Knob's is the one that stuck.
