Part of the Gay Mexico City Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Mexico City, State of Mexico
Three-story gay nightclub in Zona Rosa with rooftop terrace and drag shows.
Malva is a multi-level gay nightclub on Calle Amberes, one of the larger multi-environment venues on the Zona Rosa's main nightlife strip. Each floor runs its own sound: a ground 'Garden' level built around drag and pop, a middle floor leaning electronic and reggaeton, and a rooftop terrace for stepping out of the noise. Drag performances near the entrance set the tone. The crowd skews toward the local circuit scene, and the night runs late — things don't really fill until after 11 PM and can stretch toward dawn on weekends. With several rooms under one roof and a terrace to cool off on, it's a club to settle into for the night rather than a quick stop, and a solid anchor for a night out on Amberes.
