Berlin, Germany
Flagship store for the gay-owned Maskulo fetish sportswear brand
Flagship store for Maskulo, a gay-owned fetish and sportswear label on Fuggerstraße in Schöneberg. The shop carries the brand's full range — jockstraps, harnesses, spandex shorts, leggings, and military-styled pants — plus the more affordable Outtox sub-line, in sizes S through XXL. Maskulo sits on the same block as R&Co and Mister B but stands apart with its synthetic-forward aesthetic. Where competitors lean leather and rubber, Maskulo's signature is spandex, lycra, and neoprene with athletic cuts. The brand was founded in 2014 by two gay activists in Novosibirsk, Siberia; they relocated operations to Berlin in 2019 and were forced to fully exit Russia by 2023 after being listed as political dissidents for their LGBTQ+ activism.
