Montreal, Québec
Nautilus Plus gym at the edge of the Gay Village, with sauna.
The Berri-UQAM Nautilus Plus sits on Rue Saint-Andre at the western edge of Montreal's Gay Village, listed on the official Village Montreal business directory and featured in LGBTQ+ travel guides as the neighborhood gym. Two levels of strength and cardio equipment, a functional training zone, group fitness classes, spinning, personal training with university-level kinesiologists, and a sauna in the locker room. Nautilus Plus is a Quebec-only chain founded in 1978 by two former Quebec Nordiques hockey players, now employee-owned after a 2021 management buyout. This location has the longest hours of the five Montreal-area branches, open until 11 PM on weeknights. The Berri-UQAM metro station is steps away.
