Part of the Gay Columbus Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Columbus, Ohio
No-frills University District gay dive with karaoke and drag.
O'Connor's Club 20 is a no-frills gay dive bar on East Duncan Street in the University District, where it's served the LGBTQ+ community for more than two decades — it started life simply as Club 20 before taking on the O'Connor's name under later ownership. The draw here is the opposite of flash: cheap drinks, a friendly room, and a bar that's genuinely woven into the community, sponsoring local softball and other teams. The calendar rotates through karaoke (the house specialty), drag shows, trivia, and game-day viewing, and there's a patio with covered and open sections for the summer. It's a 21-and-up neighborhood spot — the place you go to become a regular, not to be seen.
