Orlando, Florida
Public memorial garden of 49 pavers honoring the Pulse victims.
Forty-nine limestone pavers arranged in a circle around a fountain at Orlando Health's Lake Beauty Park, each bearing the name of someone killed at Pulse nightclub on June 12, 2016. A 50th paver carries a collective remembrance inscription. The garden was dedicated September 26, 2016 — the first permanent Pulse memorial in Orlando — on the campus of Orlando Regional Medical Center, the trauma center that treated 44 shooting victims and later forgave all their medical bills. The garden is at 1600 S. Orange Ave, one block south of the ORMC emergency entrance, and is open to the public 24 hours with no admission charge. It is separate from the permanent National Pulse Memorial being built at the former nightclub site on South Orange Ave, which broke ground in 2026 with completion expected in fall 2027.
