PRIDE bar + lounge is Southern Indiana's only LGBTQ+ bar, on State Street in New Albany, just across the Ohio River from downtown Louisville. The space pairs a dance floor with a large outdoor deck, and a roll-up garage-door wall opens the bar straight onto the patio in good weather. Weekend drag shows are the centerpiece, often paired with charity liquor-bottle auctions that give the room a community-fundraiser feel. Open Wednesday through Sunday with rotating drink specials through the week, it draws a crowd from both sides of the river and fills a real gap: queer nightlife options thin out fast in the metro once you leave Louisville proper.
