Barcelona, Barcelona
Two-room Grupo Arena nightclub in Sants with 'Bananas' Fridays and 'YASS!' Saturdays.
Safari Disco Club is one of Barcelona's main gay nightclubs, run by Grupo Arena out of a 1,100-square-meter space on Carrer de Tarragona in Sants-Montjuïc. It holds around 900 people across two rooms: a large main floor for pop, house and reggaetón, and a second room that goes harder and more electronic, plus a covered outdoor terrace for the smoking and cooling-off crowd. The flagship weekly parties are Bananas on Fridays and YASS! on Saturdays, and the calendar also makes room for POPair, a long-running night aimed at the bear community. This is a proper late club rather than a bar: doors open late and the night runs deep into the early morning, so it's where you go after the Gayxample bars wind down, not before. The crowd is large, mixed and up for it, and the two-room layout means you can switch between a commercial floor and a heavier one without leaving. Worth the short trip out of the gay district when you want scale and a real dance floor.
