Schöneberg latex atelier designing and manufacturing rubber and kink gear since 2018.
S.A.R. — Sven Appelt Rubber — is a latex atelier and retail shop on Bülowstrasse in Schöneberg, Berlin's historic gay neighborhood, steps from U Bülowstraße. Founded in 2018, it's one of the few shops in the city that both designs and manufactures latex clothing in-house, with a range covering heavy rubber, bondage, watersports, pup play, skinwear, and wrestling gear. Ready-to-wear pieces sit alongside made-to-measure commissions, and the shop also stocks other established European latex labels. What sets SAR apart is the bespoke and repair side of the business. Custom orders are made to spec — cut, color, and construction — and the workshop handles repairs on garments from other brands, including Blackstyle, Libidex, and RubAddiction.
