Club-sauna hybrid in Anzures with bar, DJs, and themed event nights
Sodome is a gay men's sauna in the Anzures neighborhood, about a 15-minute walk northwest of Zona Rosa, and it bills itself as the only European-style club-sauna in Mexico City. The model is closer to a Berlin or Barcelona sauna-club than a traditional Mexican vapor bath: alongside the steam room, dry sauna, and jacuzzi there's a dark room, a maze, a sling room, and a foam area, with resident DJs, gogo dancers, and themed party nights layered on top. Entry includes a locker, towel, sandals, and condoms; private rooms are available by the hour, and the venue makes a point of welcoming all body types and ages rather than splitting nights by crowd. It's the most polished and party-forward of the city's saunas — the one to choose if you want the bathhouse experience with a club attached, as opposed to the old-school neighborhood vapor baths downtown. Phones aren't allowed inside.
