The largest LGBTQ+ bookstore in Latin America, on Calle de Niza in the Zona Rosa. Founded in 2009 as Voces en Tinta by Bertha de la Maza (who started by bringing queer-themed books back from Spain for friends), it was renamed Somos Voces in 2016 and is now run by a collective. The inventory spans queer-focused titles across thematic lines such as sexual diversity, gender studies, feminisms, trans literature, erotic fiction, children's books, and human rights, in both Spanish and English. The on-site Jose Antonio Alcaraz Cultural Forum hosts roughly 70-80 events per month: book launches, film screenings, drag shows, poetry nights, workshops, and support groups. There's also a full sit-down cafe.
