Glittery drag club with rotating queens and pop remixes in Eixample
Strass is a small, neon-lit drag bar just off Carrer de Villarroel in Eixample, built around nightly drag shows that kick off around 11:30pm. The space is compact and theatrical, the drinks are reasonably priced, and the lineup of performers rotates enough to keep regulars coming back; Sunday's "Bingo del Domingo" is the signature, with cash prizes on the line. The crowd is a mix of locals and tourists out for performance rather than a serious dance floor — close quarters, plenty of energy, and the kind of room where you end up part of the show. It's an easy, fun stop on a Gayxample bar crawl, especially if you time your arrival for a show.
