TepozSpa is a men-only day club set on garden grounds outside Tepoztlán, in Morelos — about an hour south of Mexico City, or fifteen minutes from Cuernavaca, on the highway toward San Andrés de la Cal. Unlike the city's indoor saunas, this is an open-air property: a swimming pool, dry sauna and steam room, indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, a solarium, and landscaped gardens spread across the site, with massage, a bar, and private rooms available. It opens weekends only, Saturday and Sunday from late morning into the evening, and the appeal is the setting as much as anything — closer to a resort afternoon in the countryside than a city bathhouse, with the Tepozteco mountains as a backdrop. Entry starts around 300 pesos with a locker, or 500 with a private dressing room. Worth the drive if you'd rather spend the day in the sun than in a steam room, and an easy add-on to a weekend trip out to Tepoztlán.
