Men-only Hove sauna with Friday naked and bears nights
The Boiler Room is a men-only sauna on Denmark Villas in Hove, away from the Kemptown bars on the western side of the city. Its own site lists a sauna, steam room and large jacuzzi, five private cabins, a two-tier cinema, a lounge with a TV, food and a licensed bar, and a smoking yard. A towel, locker, chilled water, tea and coffee are included with entry. It's 18 and over, and under-25s need ID. Entry gets cheaper as the day goes on, and under-25s get a reduced rate outside party nights. Fridays are the big night: the first and third Friday of the month are naked nights and the second and fourth are a bears night, both running 9pm to 2am, with a no-theme party when a month has a fifth Friday. The rest of the week it's open midday to 11pm, and the heat rooms switch off 15 minutes before closing.
