Men's sauna on Grand Parade, open straight through the weekend
The Brighton Sauna is a men's sauna on Grand Parade, a few minutes' walk from St James's Street and the rest of Kemptown. The facility list on its own site runs to a 14-person dry sauna with its own dark room, a 12-person steam room, a 10-person jacuzzi, a 15-seat cinema, 16 private cabins, a staddle bench room, a large dark room downstairs, and a lounge with a big TV. There's a massage room with masseurs, a dining area and a smoking area, and towels, a locker, chilled water and WiFi come with entry. The weekly rhythm is simple: it opens at midday Monday to Thursday and closes at 9pm, then runs straight through from Friday at noon to Sunday night. There's a discreet rear entrance off Grand Parade Mews if you'd rather not use the front door, and free condoms and lube are supplied with Terrence Higgins Trust South. The sauna lists Golden Handbag awards for Best Gay Business (unlicensed) across 2011 to 2017, and the men-only Brighton Cruise Bar trades from the same Grand Parade address.
