Part of the Gay New Orleans Guide — bars, events & things to do.

New Orleans, Louisiana
Longtime Metairie gay neighborhood bar with an indoor lounge and patio.
The Four Seasons & Den Patio Bar is a gay neighborhood bar on North Causeway Boulevard in Metairie, and one of the few LGBTQ+ spots serving the suburbs west of New Orleans. It traces its roots back decades, with local reporting dating a gay bar at the location to the 1950s, and it came back from a brief hiatus in late 2023 under new ownership led by drag performer Corynne Deville. The layout splits between an indoor lounge and a semi-covered patio rigged with misters for the Gulf Coast heat, and the calendar stays full: Flamingo Bingo on Fridays, plus rotating drag shows, karaoke, and trivia. Pours are strong and affordable, the crowd is regulars-heavy and welcoming, and for anyone staying out by the airport or in Jefferson Parish, it's the local gay bar worth knowing rather than driving all the way into the city.
