Leeds, England
Four-floor men-only gay sauna with a roof-terrace spa
The Pipeworks is a men-only gay sauna on Albion Street in the city centre, sister to Pipeworks in Glasgow. It bills itself as one of the UK's leading gay men's health and leisure clubs, and it's spread over four floors: a dry sauna, steam room and spa pool on the ground floor, a bar, lockers and premium cabins on the first, cruising cabins on the second, and a TV lounge and roof-terrace spa at the top. Weekdays it opens from 11am, and at weekends it runs non-stop from 11am Friday to 11pm Sunday. Entry is £29 without membership, or £21 for members; membership is £9 a year and you can only join in person. Cash and cards are both accepted, and premium cabins cost extra.
