Los Angeles, California
Long Beach's three-level gay dance club on PCH, running since 1977.
WERK Long Beach is a three-level gay dance club on Pacific Coast Highway — the same space that ran as Executive Suite from 1977, rebranded to WERK. It's one of Long Beach's longest-running queer venues, with a main dance floor, drag (the long-running Lipstick Divas show), go-go dancers, and a karaoke lounge with pool on the middle floor. The crowd is a mixed, diverse LGBTQ+ mix of Long Beach locals, busiest Wednesday through Sunday. (Aggregators still list the old Executive Suite name; the live operator brand is WERK.)
