XXL-Berlin is a gay cruise club, sex cinema, and retail shop in Prenzlauer Berg, on Bornholmer Straße near the old Bösebrücke crossing, and it has been part of Berlin's cruising landscape since 2004. The ground floor is a straightforward shop for toys, underwear, and supplies. Upstairs is the real draw: more than 250 square meters of men-only space spread across darkrooms, private cabins, and a cinema screening adult films, making it one of the larger cruising venues in the city. It runs on a steady late-day-to-2 a.m. rhythm seven days a week, which makes it as much a drop-in as a destination. Wednesday is cinema night, and the last Thursday of every month brings the long-running underwear-and-naked party, the night most regulars build their week around. It sits a little north of the Schöneberg and Friedrichshain action, so it pulls a local Prenzlauer Berg crowd alongside men working their way across the city's cruise circuit.
