Baltimore Pride 2027 is expected in June 2027, but the organizer has not announced dates yet. As of October 22, 2026, the official site at baltimorepride.org still shows the 2026 edition, which ran June 8–14, 2026, and its schedule page lists no upcoming events. We will add the 2027 dates here as soon as the Pride Center of Maryland publishes them, and we will not guess a weekend before then.
What we can tell you now is how the most recent edition worked. In 2026, Baltimore Pride was a full week of smaller community events that built to a Friday block party in Mount Vernon, a Saturday parade up North Charles Street, and a two-day festival in a city park. This guide walks through how the 2026 edition ran, what has changed in the last two years, where to go out in Mount Vernon and beyond, where to stay, and how to get around without a car.

Baltimore Pride 2027 Dates: What Is Confirmed
The honest answer today: expected June 2027, exact dates to be announced. Baltimore Pride has been a June event in recent years, and the 2026 edition ran Monday, June 8 through Sunday, June 14. Some travel calendars already list a 2027 week, but those listings come from third parties, not from the organizer, so we are not repeating them.
There is a second reason to wait for the official word. Under a memorandum of understanding signed in December 2025, the City of Baltimore has "ultimate authority to select the date, location, and logistical planning considerations" for the Pride festival and block party, Baltimore Beat reported in June 2026. Baltimore Beat described it as the first time the city had required such an agreement from the Pride Center. In practice that means both the dates and the festival location for 2027 depend on decisions that have not been made public yet.
Pro Tip
Hold off on nonrefundable bookings until baltimorepride.org posts the 2027 schedule. If you want to plan early, book a refundable room in June and adjust once the dates are out.
How the 2026 Week Ran
Here is the 2026 schedule as published on the official event pages. Treat it as a guide to the shape of the week, not a 2027 schedule. Names, venues and times can all change.
- Monday, June 8: Kickoff press conference and awards. 3–7 PM at the Ynot Lot, 101 W North Ave.
- Tuesday, June 9: Happy Hour and Karaoke. 5–9 PM at 33 W North Ave.
- Wednesday, June 10: Pride on the Plaza. A resource and job fair, noon–6 PM at War Memorial Plaza.
- Wednesday, June 10: Suits and Sneakers. 7–11 PM at Top of the World, 401 E Pratt St, 27th floor. Ticketed.
- Thursday, June 11: Pride Glow and Skate. A youth event, 4–7 PM at Shake and Bake, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave.
- Friday, June 12: Mt. Vernon Block Party. 3–8 PM on West Read Street in Mount Vernon.
- Friday, June 12: Twilight on the Terrace Gala. From 7 PM at the M&T Bank Exchange at the Hippodrome. Ticketed; Baltimore Magazine listed tickets from $150.
- Saturday, June 13: Pride 5K. 8 AM from the Chinese Pavilion on Swann Drive in Druid Hill Park.
- Saturday, June 13: The parade. Noon–3 PM from Charles Street and North Avenue.
- Saturday, June 13: Festival day one. Noon–9 PM at Druid Hill Park.
- Sunday, June 14: Festival day two. Noon–8 PM at Druid Hill Park.
The 2026 headliners listed on the official site were Kash Doll and En Vogue. Around the official program, bars and promoters ran their own Pride nights. Baltimore Magazine's 2026 guide listed the official after-party, Charm City Pride, at Power Plant Live, and a drag show with Jewels Sparkles at the Baltimore Eagle on the Friday night.
The Mount Vernon Block Party
If you only make one event before the weekend, make it the Friday block party in Mount Vernon. In 2026 it ran 3–8 PM; the official event page gave the location as 200 West Read Street, and Baltimore Magazine listed it at Park Avenue and Read Street and noted it was free with an RSVP.
The location matters because Mount Vernon is where Baltimore Pride began. The organizer's history page says Baltimore held its first Pride rally in 1975 near the Washington Monument in Mount Vernon, organized by the Gay and Lesbian Community Center of Baltimore. Baltimore Magazine places that first rally at Charles Plaza, so accounts differ on the exact spot. Either way, the block party lands on the same streets as Leon's, the Drinkery and Leon's Backroom, so the bars are the natural next stop once the street closes.
Pro Tip
The Friday block party is the easiest event of the week to combine with a bar crawl. Stay in Mount Vernon that night instead of heading back downtown. Leon's is at 870 Park Ave and the Drinkery at 205 W Read St, the same streets the 2026 party used.
The Baltimore Pride Parade
The 2026 parade stepped off at noon on Saturday, June 13 from Charles Street and North Avenue. Baltimore Beat reported that the route ran north on Charles Street from North Avenue and ended between 29th and 30th Streets, which Baltimore Magazine described as Station North to Charles Village. The Banner described it as Baltimore's 51st annual Pride parade and reported that thousands turned out along the route.
Watching the Parade
- Where to stand: anywhere along North Charles Street between North Avenue and 29th Street. The North Avenue start is the end of the route nearest Penn Station and Mount Vernon.
- When to arrive: the 2026 parade ran noon–3 PM, so arrive before noon if you want a curbside spot near the start.
- Street closures: the city publishes closures shortly before the day. Check the Baltimore City Department of Transportation before driving anywhere near Charles Street.
- After the parade: in 2026 the festival opened at noon, the same time the parade started, so you could watch the parade and then head to Druid Hill Park for the afternoon and evening.
The Pride Festival
The festival has moved twice in two years. In 2025 the city moved it from Station North to Wyman Park Dell, citing overcrowding and public safety, according to Baltimore Beat. In 2026 it moved again, to Druid Hill Park, as two full days. That second move was the city's decision. Tramour Wilson of the Pride Center told The Banner: "This was not a change that the Pride Center requested or wanted."
So the 2027 festival site is not settled until the organizer announces it. If it returns to Druid Hill Park, expect the 2026 shape: Saturday noon–9 PM and Sunday noon–8 PM, with stages, DJs, vendors, community organizations and food. Different sources gave different hours for 2026 (the Banner listed Sunday until 9 PM, and the official homepage listed Saturday from 1 PM), so check the official event page the week you travel.
Crowd numbers vary by who is counting. The official site says 100,000+ attendees, and Visit Baltimore says Pride brings 150,000 people from throughout the region. The parade and the festival are free, per the official FAQ, which notes that some signature events, such as the Twilight on the Terrace Gala and Suits and Sneakers, require tickets.
Gay Bars & Nightlife
Baltimore's gay bars cluster in Mount Vernon, north of downtown, around Park Avenue, Read Street and Chase Street. A few are worth the trip out of the neighborhood too.
Mount Vernon
Leon's of Baltimore, at 870 Park Ave, has been a gay bar since 1957, according to Preservation Maryland. Baltimore Magazine reported in 2021 that Preservation Maryland was working to nominate Leon's to the National Register of Historic Places, and described the oval-shaped bar and red-and-black tile floor. Leon's closed in July 2026 after the death of its owner, Ron Singer, and reopened in late September, per The Banner. Its website now reads "We are open and so happy to be back!"
Around the corner at 227 W Chase St, Leon's Backroom Bar is where the karaoke happens. Leon's website lists karaoke in the Backroom on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays, Saturday nights with DJs, drag shows, bear nights and leather nights, and Karmella's Shady Ladies on the last Saturday of most months at 10 PM. The site also says "Never a cover!"
The Drinkery, at 205 W Read St, says on its website that it was established in 1972. Read Street is where the 2026 block party was held, so the Drinkery sits right on the Friday crowd's path.
Mount Vernon Gay Bars
For dinner before a night out, The Manor, at 924 N Charles St, describes itself on its website as a Mount Vernon restaurant and ultra lounge set in a restored 19th-century mansion, with Thursday karaoke, weekend brunch and themed nights. Its site does not present it as a gay bar, so treat it as a Gay Friendly dinner-and-drinks stop rather than part of the bar crawl.
Beyond Mount Vernon
The Baltimore Eagle, at 2022 N Charles St, bills itself as a leather bar and store, and its history page says it pays homage to the leather and kink communities. It sits on the 2026 parade route. Its site listed hours of Thursday 8 PM–midnight, Friday and Saturday 8 PM–2 AM, and Sunday 4–8 PM as of October 2026. In 2026 the Eagle hosted a Friday Pride drag show with Jewels Sparkles, per Baltimore Magazine.
Mixers, at 6037 Belair Rd in Northeast Baltimore, is trans and LGBTQ+ owned and operated, per its website. It runs karaoke, themed nights and drag shows. Drag shows, dance nights and DJ events need a $5 drink ticket that covers your first drink. Mixers also runs its own leather title contest, Mixers Leather.
Beyond Mount Vernon
Daytime and Culture
Iron Crow Theatre describes itself as Baltimore's professional LGBTQ+ theatre company. Its visit page says its permanent home is now 2600 N. Howard Street in Remington. In 2026 it staged The View Upstairs during Pride, per Baltimore Magazine, so check its season for a June show. For a daytime stop, Red Emma's, at 3128 Greenmount Ave, describes itself as a worker cooperative bookstore, cafe and community events space, founded in 2004. In Charles Village, Bird in Hand, at 11 E 33rd St, is a Gay Friendly bookstore-cafe; Baltimore Magazine covered its opening in 2016.

Where to Stay
Two areas make sense for a Pride trip: Mount Vernon if you want to walk to the bars and the Friday block party, and the Inner Harbor and downtown if you want more hotel options.
Mount Vernon puts you on foot from Leon's, the Drinkery and the block party. Two hotels in the neighborhood:
- Hotel Revival: 101 W Monument St. The hotel describes itself as in the heart of historic Mount Vernon, with a hidden cocktail lounge with karaoke rooms (hotelrevivalbaltimore.com).
- The Ivy Hotel: 205 E Biddle St in Mount Vernon (theivybaltimore.com).
The Inner Harbor and downtown have more hotel options. The free Circulator runs north to Mount Vernon, and the Light Rail continues to Woodberry for the park. One option downtown:
- Kimpton Hotel Monaco Baltimore Inner Harbor: 2 N Charles St (monaco-baltimore.com).
Pro Tip
Pride week in Baltimore ran Monday to Sunday in 2026, but if you are short on time, a Friday-to-Sunday trip covers the block party, parade and festival on the 2026 pattern. Arrive Friday afternoon for the Mount Vernon block party, do the parade and festival Saturday, and keep Sunday for the second festival day.
Getting There & Around
Getting to Baltimore
- By air: BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport is south of the city. The airport's transit page says Light Rail riders heading to Penn Station should change at Mt. Royal Avenue for the Penn Station Light Rail, for one $2 fare each way. MARC's Penn Line also stops at BWI Rail Station.
- By train: Amtrak and MARC stop at Baltimore Penn Station, 1500 N Charles St. That is the same street as the parade, south of the 2026 starting point at North Avenue. MARC's Penn Line connects Penn Station with Union Station in Washington, D.C.
- By car: parking near Charles Street and the park gets tight on Pride weekend. Visit Baltimore notes free parking throughout Druid Hill Park, but says it fills up quickly.
Getting Around
- Charm City Circulator: the city's Circulator buses are free. The Purple Route runs from 33rd Street to Federal Hill, and the Green Route runs from City Hall to North Avenue and Johns Hopkins Hospital.
- To Druid Hill Park: Visit Baltimore says the park is reachable by SubwayLink, Light RailLink and CityLink buses, and suggests getting off the Light Rail at Woodberry.
- To Mount Vernon by rail: Visit Baltimore names Cultural Center as the closest Light Rail stop to Mount Vernon, with Penn Station as an alternative.
Pro Tip
If the festival returns to Druid Hill Park, take the Light Rail to Woodberry instead of driving. Visit Baltimore says the park's free parking fills up quickly, and the Light Rail also runs back toward downtown when you are done.

I'm Robbie, the founder of Out x Out. I'm from Minneapolis, though I'm spending 2026 building this community from the road — somewhere between South America and Asia. The idea for Out x Out came from a trip to Berlin, where the gay nightlife calendar was years ahead of ours: you could see not just where to go out, but which night to go — so naturally I wanted that kind of insider info for every city in the US (and beyond... eventually). I'm more of a behind-the-scenes type, but the whole point of this is connection: I'd take one real one over a hundred surface-level ones, and I'm trying to build that for the community, city by city.
