Baltimore, Maryland
Karaoke destination and sister bar to Leon's with a disco-ball dance floor
Leon's Backroom is the livelier sister space to Leon's of Baltimore, with its own entrance around the corner on West Chase Street. It's where the entertainment happens: a circular bar, window seating, and a back dance floor under a disco ball. Where the historic front bar is for nursing a drink and talking, the Backroom is for karaoke and a show. It runs as Baltimore's karaoke headquarters, with shows three nights a week — Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays — led by local host Stacey Antoine. It shares the same long-running happy hour as the main pub and the same Mount Vernon regulars, just at a higher tempo. For a traveler, it's the natural second stop after the front bar, or the place to land if you came out to actually do something rather than just drink.
