Mission Dolores Park
Dolores Park, Dolores St & 19th St, San Francisco, CA 94114San Francisco Trans March 2026 lands on Friday, June 26, 2026, the LGBTQ+ kickoff to Pride weekend, gathering at Mission Dolores Park before a march through the city. Now in its 23rd year, this is one of the largest trans-specific gatherings anywhere in the world, and it carries real weight. The afternoon starts as a rally on the grass at Dolores Park, at Dolores Street and 19th, then the march steps off in the early evening, winding through the Mission and up Market Street toward Civic Center. Exact 2026 times are not posted yet, so check transmarch.org or their Instagram closer to the date for the finalized schedule. It is free and all ages, and it holds two things at once. There is genuine joy and community here, and there is remembrance for trans people lost to anti-trans violence. The crowd is fierce, tender, and unmistakably theirs. Expect homemade signs, chosen family, and a long stretch of Market that feels reclaimed for an evening. Getting there is easy. Take BART to 16th Street Mission, then walk south on Dolores about ten minutes to the park, or hop the J-Church Muni Metro line, which runs right alongside Dolores. Tap your Clipper card and you are set. Here is the local move most visitors miss. Bring a layer even though the Mission is the sunniest, warmest pocket of the city. By the time the march reaches Market and Civic Center in the evening, Karl the fog rolls back and the temperature drops fast, so that extra layer is the difference between comfortable and shivering.
