Drag brunches, circuit nights & every party worth knowing in Miami — in your inbox every week.
Miami runs drag brunch on a schedule most cities would call a full week. On Ocean Drive, Palace serves it Friday through Monday and fills the Tuesday-to-Thursday gap with a drag lunch. Across the causeway in Wynwood, R House runs two show seatings every Saturday and Sunday. Between the two you can sit down to queens any day you are in town; bottomless mimosas come with the brunch packages, not the weekday lunch.
This guide covers both, with the seatings, prices, age rules and booking details as each venue publishes them, plus how to pick between an Art Deco sidewalk on the beach and a restaurant in the arts district. For the nighttime side of the scene, see our companion guide to drag shows in Miami.
What to know before you go
- Both brunches are 18+. R House checks ID at the door and does not accept copies; Palace states guests must be 18 or older. Neither is a kids' brunch.
- Book ahead. Palace holds tables with a credit card through its reservation form. R House takes bookings on SevenRooms and tells you to reserve early for weekend brunch. Walk-ins on a sunny Sunday are a gamble at either.
- Know the package. Both sell brunch as a set package rather than an à la carte meal: one entrée at Palace, a family-style set menu at R House, with bottomless drinks and the show included. Palace adds tax and a 20% service charge to the check.
- Bring small bills. The performers work for tips. Palace's own description of its brunch is "audience interaction, dollar tips flying, and a genuinely packed house." That is the etiquette at both rooms.
Pro Tip
R House warns of high demand and tells guests to reserve early. If your trip overlaps Miami Beach Pride in April, Winter Party in March or URGE over Thanksgiving, book brunch the day you book the flight.
Drag brunch in Miami, venue by venue
Palace Bar & Restaurant — South Beach
1052 Ocean Dr, Miami Beach · South Beach · Drag brunch Friday to Monday, drag lunch Tuesday to Thursday
By the venue's own account, Palace opened in February 1988 at 1200 Ocean Drive and moved to its current spot at 1052 Ocean Drive after the original closed in July 2017. It is now a short walk up Ocean Drive from 12th Street Beach, the gay stretch of sand. Palace describes itself as "Ocean Drive's original home for drag brunch," and location is the pitch: the restaurant sits directly on Ocean Drive and bills the brunch as "nonstop entertainment right on Ocean Drive."
Brunch runs Friday through Sunday with two seatings and a named host each day, plus a single Monday seating. Packages start at $60 per person and include one entrée, bottomless mimosas and the full show. Champagne upgrades are available, there is no formal dress code ("South Beach casual, brunch chic"), and a card is required to hold any table. Tuesday to Thursday the same stage hosts Ladies Who Lunch, a three-course drag lunch for $38.
- Friday, 11 AM and 2 PM seatings — The Real Drag Brunch of Miami, hosted by Tiffany Fantasia

Pro Tip
Palace points drivers to the 12th Street and 13th Street garages and warns that street parking fills fast on weekends. If you are staying anywhere in South Beach, walk or bike it.
R House Wynwood — Wynwood
2727 NW 2nd Ave, Miami · Wynwood · Drag brunch Saturday and Sunday, two show seatings
R House opened in 2014 as part restaurant and part art gallery, run by husbands Rocco Carulli, the chef, and Owen Bale. The drag brunch grew out of that room and is now the thing the restaurant is known for. The venue's brunch page title reads "Voted Best Brunch 2025 by Miami New Times Readers," and it warns in capital letters that demand is high and to reserve early.
The format: a family-style set menu by Chef Carulli, bottomless mimosas, sangria or mojitos, and performances running through the meal. Packages start at $65 per person. An $85 package adds a $50 bottle-service credit per person, front-row seating and VIP check-in. Alcohol-free and vegan packages are available, and no prepayment is required to book. Groups of nine or more are routed to the event-space team.
- Saturday, 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM shows — R House Drag Brunch
- Sunday, 11:30 AM and 2:30 PM shows — R House Drag Brunch

Both brunch venues at a glance:
Palace or R House: how to choose
Pick Palace if you want the beach. It is on Ocean Drive, and you can walk from brunch to 12th Street Beach. It is also the one running on a Friday or a Monday, and the one with a weekday drag lunch.
Pick R House if you want a restaurant-style show. The menu is family-style, the show runs through the meal, and Wynwood's murals, galleries and bars are right outside for the rest of the afternoon. R House also runs valet, which matters more on the mainland than on the beach.
Doing both is realistic on a weekend: Palace on Saturday, R House on Sunday, with a night at the South Beach gay bars in between.
More drag brunch around Miami
One more option publishes a standing schedule and one does not; neither is in our venue directory yet. Diva Royale, a multi-city celebrity-impersonation show, runs a Sunday brunch show at 1:30 PM (doors 1 PM) at Revenge Nightclub, 1532 Washington Ave in South Beach, 18+, with prepaid brunch packages sold through divaroyale.com. Its Friday and Saturday 7:30 PM dinner shows are covered in our drag shows guide. Bar Gaythering on Lincoln Road lists seasonal Sunday Fundays and "surprise drag shows" without published times; check the Bar Gaythering page before you plan around it.

What to expect at a Miami drag brunch
Both rooms run a hosted show with a cast of queens performing between courses and working the tables. At Palace the host changes by day and the room sits right on Ocean Drive. At R House the performances run all through the meal on the same stage that hosts its Friday and Saturday dinner shows.
Plan on two to three hours. Arrive on time, because seatings are timed. Keep cash for tips even though food and drinks go on a card. And if you are celebrating, say so when you book: both venues build their brunches around birthdays and bachelorette groups, and Palace spells out that there is no group minimum for bachelorette tables.
Big weekends
Drag brunch is at its busiest when the city's gay calendar peaks. Miami Beach Pride in April puts the parade and festival along Ocean Drive, Palace's own street. Winter Party Festival in March and URGE Miami over Thanksgiving bring a week of parties to South Beach. Book brunch early for any of them.
Where to stay
South Beach is the base for a brunch-first trip: Palace is on Ocean Drive, 12th Street Beach is a short walk up the road, and the gay bars on Washington Avenue and Lincoln Road are a few blocks away. Wynwood is a ride over the causeway. A few bookable picks below.
