- Fire Island Leather Weekend (May 15–17) — Season-opening kink and leather gathering in Cherry Grove with themed parties and poolside events
- Fire Island Bear Weekend (June 11–15) — Pool parties, dance events, beach gatherings, and the Mr. Fire Island Bear contest across Cherry Grove and the Pines
- Invasion of the Pines (July 4) — The island's signature event where drag queens ferry en masse from Cherry Grove to invade the Pines harbor
- The Pines Party (July 31–August 2) — One of the biggest events on the American gay circuit calendar, featuring world-class DJs and poolside events
