Fire Island's event calendar is packed from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day. Here's what to expect throughout the 2026 season.

Major Annual Events

• Fire Island Leather Weekend (May 15–17) — Season-opening kink and leather gathering in the Pines with themed parties and poolside events
• Fire Island Bear Weekend (June 11–15) — Pool parties, dance events, beach gatherings, and the Mr. Fire Island Bear contest across Cherry Grove and the Pines
