Part of the Gay Key West Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Key West, Florida
An adults-only LGBTQ+ guesthouse in a restored Conch house on Fleming.
Alexander's is an adults-only, queer-centric guesthouse in a restored 1902 Conch house on Fleming Street, on a quiet residential stretch of Old Town. The three-story home is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and keeps its original Dade County pine floors and tall windows; the 17 rooms range from standard queens up to a two-story apartment with a full kitchen. Out back there's a heated pool, a spa tub, and multi-level sun decks where the two upper-level decks are clothing-optional. The crowd is primarily gay and lesbian travelers who want a calmer base than the bar blocks but don't want to be far from them. It sits about three blocks off the Duval Street corridor, close enough to walk to the Pink Triangle nightlife and back. A daily expanded continental breakfast and a poolside happy hour come with the stay, which makes the property feel more social than a standard inn.
