Key West, Florida
Boutique hotel and live vocal drag cabaret on Duval Street
La Te Da is a 15-room adults-only boutique hotel, restaurant, and cabaret on Duval Street in Key West. The building dates to 1892, originally built by cigar manufacturer Teodoro Perez and named La Terraza de Martí after José Martí delivered independence speeches from its balcony. Christopher's Restaurant serves New American dinner nightly, and the Crystal Room hosts Randy Roberts' live vocal drag cabaret — no lip-syncing — at 9 PM. The Sunday Tea Dance has run continuously since the 1970s, free by the pool from 4 to 6:30 PM with resident DJs. It's been called the most iconic recurring LGBTQ+ social gathering in the southeastern United States. Key West Pride traditionally ends at La Te Da, with the parade spilling into Tea Dance.
