Queer dance club on the Greenpoint-Williamsburg border with outdoor patio
Queer bar and dance club on Meeker Avenue at the Greenpoint/Williamsburg border in Brooklyn, opened April 2024 in the former Breakers space. Co-owned by Jim Morrison Hevert (who also co-owns The Exley, a nearby Williamsburg queer bar), Ashton Correa (formerly Director of People and Culture at the Ace Hotel), and Tony Kelley. The layout includes an outdoor patio bar, an indoor bar with a skylight, and a dance floor with disco ball and red accent lighting. Weekend brunches transition into dance parties; the recurring CUIR night is an all-night happy hour for queers in fetish gear. DJs rotate through house, disco, and electronic sets. Cocktails include a signature Animal Spritz and mezcal margarita. Open 4pm to 4am weekdays, 2pm to 4am weekends, $10 cover after 10pm.
