Bar Blend sits in the middle of Reguliersdwarsstraat, the spine of Amsterdam's gay nightlife, and works as a modern neighborhood bar more than a club — a ground-floor room with a long bar, tables, wall benches, and a DJ booth, plus a second floor for busier nights. The programming leans social and a little campy: regular drag shows, Monday-night bingo, and themed evenings like Eurovision watch parties and guilty-pleasure pop nights. It's an easy first or last stop on a Reguliers crawl, with a mixed gay crowd and enough seating to actually talk early in the evening before the street fills up. Bar Blend is the smaller, more laid-back counterpart to BLEND XL, its larger dance-focused sibling a few doors down, so the two work well as a pair across one night.
