850-capacity queer club on Reguliersdwarsstraat with three floors
Club NYX is the big multi-level queer nightclub on Reguliersdwarsstraat, spread over three floors of a historic building with room for around 850 and an interior that mixes industrial wooden beams with loud modern graffiti. Each floor has its own sound — house and pop at street level, R&B and dancehall a flight up, and a top-floor lounge known for a DJ booth built into the restrooms. The name nods to Nyx, the Greek goddess of night; the club grew out of the earlier Club Exit on the same strip. Its signature is Saturgay, the all-floors Saturday night that pulls a young, genuinely mixed crowd and ranks among the city's highest-energy queer parties. NYX welcomes everyone regardless of orientation, and during the Amsterdam Dance Event it's a recognized festival venue. This is the full-club end of a Reguliers night — go when you want a real dance floor rather than a bar, ideally late.
