Amsterdam's iconic leather-fetish bar with dark rooms on Warmoesstraat
Eagle Amsterdam is the city's landmark leather and cruise bar, set over three floors of a Warmoesstraat building in the Red Light District and counted among Amsterdam's oldest gay leather venues. The crowd skews leather and denim but the door is open to everyone; the layout runs a ground-floor bar up to a cruising area on the second floor and a dark room in the basement, with DJs on weekend nights. It's the heart of the Warmoesstraat fetish cluster — Dirty Dick's sits just down the block — and carries enough standing in the scene that it was named best gay fetish club in Europe at the 2025 X-Awards. For a traveler chasing Amsterdam's leather scene, this is the obvious first stop; come dressed in line with the night and expect a later, cruisier crowd than the Reguliers bars across town.
