About Boxers HK

Hell's Kitchen outpost of Boxers, the gay sports bar group that started in Chelsea in 2010 with a simple idea from founders Bob Fluet and Rob Hynds: a place where gay guys and their teammates could actually watch the game in comfort. The formula carries over here — flatscreens on every wall, beer on tap, wings and brick-oven pizza, and bartenders working in red boxer shorts. The Hell's Kitchen location sits at its longtime home on 9th Avenue, with a rooftop that opens on warm-weather nights over the avenue. Programming has grown well past sports: RuPaul's Drag Race viewing parties, karaoke, Latin nights, and DJ sets, plus a 2-for-1 happy hour seven days a week and weekend brunch. It's the easygoing, come-as-you-are end of the Hell's Kitchen strip — louder and more game-day than the cocktail rooms nearby, and a reliable first or last stop on a night out in the neighborhood.
