Part of the Gay Little Rock Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Little Rock, Arkansas
Arkansas' flagship gay nightclub on S Louisiana St in Little Rock
Club Sway is Arkansas's flagship gay nightclub, holding down 412 South Louisiana Street in downtown Little Rock — the same address that housed the legendary queer bars The Factory and, before that, C.O.A.D. (Coming Out After Dark). Open since 2010, it bills itself as the state's queerest nightclub: a central dance floor ringed by video screens and elevated seating, a covered outdoor smoking lounge, and a full production stage that has hosted everything from drag to weddings to music-video shoots. The programming is the real distinction. Sway has put more RuPaul's Drag Race alumni on its stage than anywhere else in Arkansas, runs the city's longest-running annual production of The Rocky Horror Show every Halloween, and has welcomed nightlife figures like Amanda Lepore. In 2023 the Human Rights Campaign and Showtime recognized it for its support of LGBTQ+ people of color, women, and the transgender community. Non-smoking inside and 18+ every night, it's the anchor of queer Little Rock — for travelers, the one essential stop in the state capital.
