New York City, New York
Queer-owned Bed-Stuy bar and arts space with nightly drag, burlesque, and live music
Queer-owned bar and live arts space on Franklin Ave in Bed-Stuy, Brooklyn. The front room has a mahogany bar with 70s retro finishes and booth seating; the back is a dedicated performance space with a stage running drag shows, live music, burlesque, DJ nights, and comedy most nights of the week. Programming ranges from recurring series like Monday Night Burlesque and monthly bingo with Murray Hill to one-off album release parties and queer disco supper clubs. The crowd skews creative and intentionally queer-centered, with a strong emphasis on QTPOC artists and performers. Three-time Glam Awards winner for Best Bar. Opened in 2015 and still one of Brooklyn's most actively programmed queer venues, with events most nights through DICE.
