Queer-owned cookie shop on Church Street with 100+ rotating flavors
The Church Street location of Craig's Cookies sits in Church and Wellesley — the heart of Toronto's gay village and one of Canada's most prominent LGBTQ+ neighborhoods. Queer-owned by actor-turned-baker Craig Pike, the shop carries 100+ rotating cookie flavors built on Pike's mother's chocolate chip base: Pop-Tart stuffed (the original invention), Nutella, M&M, and seasonal specials. The year-round Pride cookie directs proceeds to Friends of Ruby, which provides mental health support, housing, and services to LGBTQ+ youth. Press has called this location "a fixture in Toronto's queer village" — Pride is year-round here, not seasonal.
