Daiquiri Dick's has held its spot on Los Muertos Beach in the Zona Romántica since 1972 — one of Puerto Vallarta's longest-running restaurants. The current ownership group includes LGBT businessman Javier Jimenez and LA restaurateurs Wayne Elias and Chris Diamond, continuing a tradition of gay-friendly dining that dates back decades under previous owners Peter and Tari Bowman. The setting is the draw: tables on the sand, a giant boat-shaped bar mixing cocktails like the Oaxaca on the Beach, and a menu built around fresh seafood alongside staples like the signature Asian Chicken Salad. Casual enough for a long lunch, polished enough for a sunset dinner.
