Part of the Gay Puerto Vallarta Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco
Tex-Mex sports bar and boutique theater on Basilio Badillo.
Nacho Daddy is a Tex-Mex restaurant, sports bar, and live entertainment venue on Basilio Badillo in Puerto Vallarta's Zona Romantica. The ground floor has eight HD screens, a pool table, and an open kitchen turning out nachos, fajitas, burritos, chili fries, and frozen margaritas. Upstairs is a 100-seat boutique theatre that the owners call a "Tropical House of Blues" — cabaret acts, visiting performers, and bands rotate through most nights in season. The weekly lineup includes open mic night on Tuesdays with host Gouda Gabor, charity bingo Wednesdays, happy hour trivia Thursdays, and the Texas Embassy Blues Band every Friday at 8:30. Founded in 2009 by Sean Moore and Tammy Prust, the restaurant has been a Zona Romantica fixture for over 15 years. Happy hour runs Tuesday through Friday, 4 to 6 PM.
