Part of the Gay Dallas Guide — bars, events & things to do.

Dallas, Texas
Dallas's leather and Levi bar in the Design District.
The Dallas Eagle is the city's leather and Levi bar, part of the national Eagle network of kink-friendly gay men's clubs. After years at its old address, it was reborn under new ownership in October 2023 in a standalone space west of downtown, set apart from the Cedar Springs strip. Inside is a large central bar, a second bar by a roomy dance floor, and walls that rotate work by local queer artists. The programming is what you'd hope for from an Eagle: Bear Night, gear and leather nights, and the long-running Trash Disco, plus a generally welcoming, no-attitude crowd whether you show up in full gear or jeans and a T-shirt. It is a destination rather than a strip-crawl stop — worth the short trip off Cedar Springs if leather culture, a real dance floor, or a community-minded men's bar is what you're after.
