Part of the Gay Dallas Guide — bars, events & things to do.
Dallas, Texas
Cedar Springs sports and video bar with a lively patio.
Woody's is Oak Lawn's gay sports bar, the Cedar Springs spot you head to when there's a game on and you want to watch it surrounded by your own crowd. Open since 2004, it lines the room with dozens of screens and ties itself tightly to the city's LGBTQ+ rec leagues — softball, volleyball, kickball, and darts teams all claim it as a home base, so the bar swells on game days and after. When there's no game, Woody's leans into nightly entertainment: karaoke, comedy, show-tune sing-alongs, and themed nights, plus a patio for watching the strip. It is the relaxed, sporty counterweight to the dance clubs nearby — low-key enough for a casual drink, social enough that solo travelers tend to fall into conversation fast.

We verified 32 LGBTQ+ campgrounds in the US, from 700-acre men's retreats in the Ozarks to a women-only resort in Michigan's Thumb. This guide covers every one we could verify from the campground's own website: who's welcome, what clothing optional means there, what you can sleep in, what it costs and when the season runs.
