Doghouse Leathers has been a Capitol Hill institution since 2006, starting as a tiny operation tucked inside the back of leather bar The Cuff before growing into a beloved standalone shop at 715 E Pike Street. Founded by the husband-and-husband team of Jeff Henness and Dan Daniels, the store was built on a simple mission: quality leather and fetish gear at fair prices, in a space where no one feels judged for what they want. That vision has held up across multiple locations and nearly two decades of serving Seattle's leather, kink, and bear communities. What sets Doghouse apart from a typical adult retailer is how much it functions as a community hub. The shop carries everything from harnesses and custom leather pieces to toys from local queer makers, with staff who are genuinely knowledgeable and zero-pressure about helping you find what you're looking for.
