Las Vegas, Nevada
Burgers and drag brunches three miles east of the Strip.
Hamburger Mary's is the Las Vegas outpost of the long-running national chain of gay-owned burger-and-drag restaurants, set on Flamingo Road about three miles east of the Strip. This location reopened in 2018 — the original had closed in 2006 — and it plays to a mostly local crowd, open Thursday through Sunday. The kitchen pairs burgers and brunch with a full slate of drag, which is the real reason to come. Weekends bring drag brunches; evenings run Dine 'N Drag dinner shows with adult-leaning cabaret, plus charity drag bingo and a recurring 'Mary's House of Comedy' stand-up series. It's dinner-and-a-show territory rather than a late-night bar — the move when you want to eat well, tip a queen, and make a full evening of it away from the Strip.
